Keyhole Toddler Dress
Hi Everyone! I'k being featured over at Ladybird Ln today. Have you heard about Carlee's Pillow Fight for a cause? If not, you really should bank check information technology out, or simply caput over and link up to her political party!
Oh, and be sure to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Awhile back I was in a mopey kinda mood visiting all my favorite blogs and wondering (outloud)
"Why practice all these women accept such wonderful ideas and make this cute stuff all the time, while my web log looks similar crap!?"
Out of nowhere Ant responds with…
"Well you have a caste in Fashion Design, a volume case total of fabric, and a mini model. Simply get stitch something! I know you've been putting things off because of the moves, but you might every bit well get started. Nosotros'll be here for at to the lowest degree a year. Promise."

Now Emmet isn't a really big talker, and his most common response is "I don't know". So information technology is extremely rare for him to tell me exactly what I need to hear, but that's just what he did. His words kicked me out of my funk, and I started sewing and redesigning my blog. I began taking pride in what I was doing and making things worthy of my (likewise expensive) college education.
Trying to brand up for my sulking and wasted time, I put as many "fancy" techniques into this dress every bit possible. Nosotros've got a keyhole, piping, french seams, a fully lined bodice, top stitching and buttons. (Button holes and I rarely get forth and so aye, they're fancy too!) Is my pride radiating from your monitor yet?
I take a little bit of tweaking to practice on the shoulder seams, but I promise to be able to share a tutorial (mayhap even a sew along) for this earlier the end of the month. It all depends on how little miss feels about taking naps, but I've got my fingers crossed.
What do you do to make yourself experience improve when you're in a funk?
Thank you for Visiting and take a dandy Father's Day!
